About Amish Built Poly

Our company is relatively new, but the craftsmanship we bring to you has been honed over many decades. We started locally by word-of-mouth around our small Western Pennsylvania town. We soon came to realize that we should share the beauty of this furniture with the world.  To support their cherished community and way of life, all of our furniture is handmade to order and sourced from Amish craftsmen. The idea for Old World Living was born a few years ago while helping a friend who owns several rental properties in the Outer Banks, Myrtle Beach, and the Florida Keys. As we towed a U-Haul trailer full of Amish built furniture, he spoke of the value, quality and sturdiness of the weatherproof poly furniture and why it was his choice for outdoor use at his beach properties. As we talked, I began to think of my desire to start a company with my son and the idea was born.
